Ms. Homeyer has practiced family law for 12 years in
her own firm. Prior to opening her own law office, Ms.
Homeyer worked in the litigation department of a large
firm in Chicago, Chapman & Cutler.
As a sole practitioner in her own firm, Ms. Homeyer
provides individualized attention to each client. She
is available to her clients through in-person office
consultations, telephone and, for existing clients,
e-mail.
Ms. Homeyer has expanded her family law practice to
include not only contested divorces but also mediation
and collaborative law. Both mediation and collaborative
law are designed to allow couples to work out their
own solution.
Ms. Homeyer is a founding member of the Collaborative
Family Law Association in St. Louis and a member of
the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.
She has received specialized training in divorce mediation
and collaborative family law.
In addition to family law, Ms. Homeyer also practices
in the areas of estate planning and probate. She can
assist you or your family with Revocable Trusts, Wills,
powers of attorney, probate estates, guardianship and
conservatorship.
She is an instructor in the Continuing Education programs
at Meramec Community College and Pattonville School
District, offering spring and fall classes on estate
planning issues.
Ms. Homeyer is a graduate of the Law School at St.
Louis University. A native St. Louisan, she attended
high school at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in St.
Charles, Missouri and currently lives in Brentwood.
She is a former educator, having taught in schools both
locally and in Nicaragua.
Ms. Homeyer is a nature enthusiast with a special interest
in birds and butterflies. She is president of the Webster
Groves Nature Study Society and a past president of
the St. Louis Chapter of the North American Butterfly
Association. She also serves as a board member for the
St. Louis Council on Foreign Relations.
