About Us

Yvonne M. Homeyer, P.C.Ms. Homeyer has been practicing family law for over 15 years. During that time, she has transitioned her work from contested (litigated) divorces to non-contested models. These include Informal or “Kitchen Table” Negotiations, Divorce Mediation, and Collaborative Divorce.

She currently serves as Vice President of The Collaborative Family Law Association and has been a member since CFLA was started in 2002.

She is the Chairperson of the Missouri Bar Subcommittee on Collaborative Law and the Co-Chairperson of the Missouri Bar Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Committee. She is also a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Association of Missouri Mediators, the Association of Family & Conciliation Courts, and the Association for Conflict Resolution.

Ms. Homeyer co-authored “Collaborative Law: Good News, Bad News, or No News?”, an article about collaborative divorce for the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis’s magazine, the St. Louis Bar Journal, which was published in the Spring, 2009 issue.

She is a graduate of the St. Louis University School of Law. A native St. Louisan, she attended high school at the Academy of the Sacred Heart in St. Charles. She currently lives in Brentwood, where she served a three-year term on the Planning and Zoning Committee. A former educator, she has taught school both locally and in Nicaragua.

Ms. Homeyer is a nature enthusiast with a special interest in birds and butterflies. She is a founder, past president, and current Vice President of the St. Louis Chapter of the North American Butterfly Association (NABA) and also serves on the national board of NABA. She is a past president of the Webster Groves Nature Study Society. When not practicing law, she can usually be found hiking outdoors with her binoculars and camera photographing butterflies, dragonflies, flowers, and birds. She has traveled extensively in Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Panama, and Ecuador.
